Campus Briefings on Proposed Absence from Work Policy

It is our pleasure to invite all managers and supervisors to attend a briefing regarding the proposed Absence from Work Policy.

The proposed policy revises seven current policies related to leaves (PPSM 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45 and 46) and consolidates them into a single, comprehensive policy called Absence from Work. It includes a number of enhancements intended to be responsive to employee work and life needs by providing increased flexibility in the use of accrued leave.

Briefing sessions are scheduled for the following dates/locations/times:

• February 23, 2010          Soc Sci 1 Rm #261        2:30-4:00 p.m.
• March 1, 2010               Soc Sci 1 Rm #261        9:00-10:30 a.m.
• March 2, 2010               SHR Training Room        3:00-4:30 p.m.

It is not necessary to pre-register for these sessions.
