HEERA Public Notice: Collective Bargaining Proposals
The Higher Education Employer-Relations Act, which governs collective bargaining of higher education employers in the state of California, requires that the University, as the employer provide notice to the public before it begins negotiations with an exclusive representative.
The University will convene initial public notice meetings on September 12 and September 26, 2011, both from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, in the Employee & Labor Relations conference room 170A, at 1201 Shaffer Road, Santa Cruz, California 95060. Copies of initial bargaining proposals will be available at the meetings. Interested members of the public may secure copies of initial bargaining proposals from both parties at the links below and online at http://atyourservice.ucop.edu/.
