Temporary Exception to Personnel Policy 41- Max Vacation
Program Summary
The Office of the President has approved a temporary exception to Personnel Policy 41, which grants campuses the authority to extend the vacation maximum “grace period” from four months to six months for non-represented employees participating in the furlough/salary reduction plan.
Our campus will implement the temporary exception effective March 1, 2010 through December 31, 2010 to assist managers and supervisors in planning business operations that will maximize the use of furlough hours and encourage the use of vacation leave for our non-represented employees.
