2006-2007 Staff Recognition and Development Program for Non-Represented Employees

The 2006-07 Staff Recognition and Development Program (SRDP) for non-represented staff employees has been approved. An award for last year’s program in the amount of up to $500 will be provided to eligible employees on September 21, 2007.

Eligibility for the SRDP is based on the following criteria:

  • Employees are in title codes that are not exclusively represented by bargaining units. Award funding for exclusively represented employees was used to permanently increase base wages through the collective bargaining process.

  • Employees with career, partial-year career, by agreement, and limited appointments will receive the award based on their distribution percent time in the Payroll/Personnel System (PPS) in effect on September 1, 2007.

  • Awards for part-time employees will be prorated, based on the employee’s distribution percent. The minimum award will be $100.

  • Employees must be on pay status for the period between January 1, 2007 and June 30, 2007, and must have received gross pay during this period. Employees must be active in the PPS (or on leave with or without pay) on September 4, 2007.

  • Employees with academic, student or senior management appointments are ineligible for the award.

Please note that a work group will commence in late fall to plan and recommend a more comprehensive SRDP for 2007-08. Questions regarding the program may be directed to your HR service team representative.
