Subject: Updated Salary Ranges for Non-Represented Employees Professional and Support Staff (PSS) and Managers and Senior Professional (MSP)
As you are aware, non-represented staff received a 3% salary range effective June 22, 2014, for biweekly paid employees and July 1, 2014, for monthly paid staff. Campus leadership has approved adjusting the PSS and MSP salary ranges for the same effective dates. The minimums, midpoints and maximums of each salary grade have increased.
As required by Personnel Policies for Staff Members (PPSM) 30- Compensation, individual employee salary rates which fall below the new minimum of their assigned salary grade have been updated in the payroll system to the minimum salary of that grade. The effective dates are June 22, 2014, for bi-weekly paid employees and July 1, 2014, for monthly paid employees.
Employment Services will update posted salary ranges in the Recruitment Management System (RMS) to reflect the new PSS and MSP salary grades. The Compensation page of the Staff Human Resources website has the new Salary Grades posted at the following link, shr.ucsc.edu/compensation/
