Performance Management On-line

Whether you are a new supervisor learning the ropes at UCSC or a long-time manager with specific challenges, performance management training can help you succeed.

Topics Include:

  • Performance Planning and Communication
  • Feedback and Coaching
  • Writing Performance Evaluations
  • Writing Counseling Memos
  • Investigating Performance Problems
  • Taking Corrective Action
  • Avoiding Common Discipline Mistakes

The Performance Management On-line program is divided into 3 phases that supervisors can access easily depending on their area of focus.

Detailed instructions on navigating the training modules are available here.

Additional Performance Management Training Options

Performance Management On-line training is just one of three methods available to supervisors and managers wanting to learn more about performance management. Other methods include classroom sessions through Training and Development and custom on site Modules.

Visit the Training and Development Web site to enroll in the classroom sessions. For information on developing on site modules for your area, contact Cecile Morris at cecile@ucsc.edu or x93935, or Bill Parro at wcparro@ucsc.edu or X92861.
