Additional Benefits Eligibility Rules
Transfer to Positions "Ineligible for Benefits"
The special rules below apply to all levels of BELI code.
Example 9
If an employee is transferred from a position with benefits to
a position that no longer meets percentage and duration requirements
(but is still an eligible Appointment Type), the employee maintains
the benefits level as long as 17.5 hours of average regular paid
time is maintained.

Type that is “ineligible” for benefits, then the employee
becomes a BELI 5 and all health and welfare benefits stop.
