How is the Effective Date of a Reclassification Determined

The effective date of a reclassification is the first day of the month following receipt of a completed Classification Review Package in the SHR Compensation office. The process of noticing the union, if an individual moves out of the bargaining unit, does not change the effective date (see "Process Timeline").
