Fire Fighters (FF)
The Santa Cruz campus is one of only two UC campuses that employs firefighter personnel. There are approximately 16 employees in the Fire Captain and Fire Specialist titles. The bargaining agreement between the University and the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) Local 4437 governs the terms and conditions of employment for firefighters.
