Service Employees (SX)
The Santa Cruz campus employs approximately 600 Service employees in positions such as Custodian, Groundskeeper, Baker, and Building Maintenance Worker. The bargaining agreement between the University and the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) governs the employment of staff who are in these titles.
