Technical Employees (TX)
The Santa Cruz campus employs approximately 200 Technical positions
in titles such as Electronic Technician, Computer Resource Specialist,
Lab Assistant, Computer Operator and Illustrator. The bargaining
agreement between the University and the University Professional
and Technical Employees union (UPTE) governs the employment of
staff who are in these titles.
