Directions to Kerr Hall
Kerr Macintosh Lab
- 159 Kerr Hall
The Staff and Faculty Macintosh Computer Lab at Kerr Hall consists of 14 student computers and one instructor computer. The Mac Lab uses Power MAC G4s, with Dual 1.2 Ghz Processors, 1.25 GB RAM, 80 GB Hard Drives, CD/DVD Combo Drives, and 17" LCD monitors. (Note: No floppy drives.) The instructor computer is connected to a Sharp data projector capable of 1024x768 screen resolutions. The current OS is OSX, 10.4.8. Software includes Microsoft Office X (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), FileMaker Pro 5.5, Dreamweaver and Fireworks 8, Adobe Creative Suite 2, Citrix applications, and others.
Kerr PC Lab - 8 Kerr Hall
The Staff and Faculty PC Lab at Kerr Hall consists of 14 student computers and one instructor computer. The PC Lab uses Dell Optiplex GX270s, with 2.4 GHz Pentium IV Processors, 1GB RAM, 40 GB Hard Drives, CDRW/DVD Combo Drives, 1.44MB Floppy Drives, and 17" LCD monitors. The instructor computer is connected to a Sharp data projector capable of 1024x768 screen resolutions. The current OS is Windows XP Professional w/SP2. Software includes Microsoft Office 2002 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project, Visio), FileMaker Pro 5.5, Adobe CS2 Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat, Illustrator), Macromedia Dreamweaver, Fireworks MX, Captivate, and others.
To Reserve Lab Space
There are no fees for lab use for mandatory staff training.
Mandatory training includes AIS, FIS, PPS, SIS, RMS, Data Warehouse, Vista/Budget System, and several Business Transformation Project trainings.

To View the Current Lab Schedules:
- Log into "Cruz Time" and select the "File" menu.
Click "Agenda" on the drop down menu. Click on "Open".
- The system will open a dialog box with your name showing;
click the magnifying glass icon on the far right of that
box.
- On the new screen, click the "Resources" tab. Type "Kerr" into
the "Resource Name" field.
- Click the "Search" button
or press "Enter".
- The system will list the Kerr
Hall labs in the bottom half of the window. Select the
lab whose schedule you want to view. Click the "OK" button
at the bottom of the box.
- The system will present a box
that says "Open Agenda
For: (name of lab you selected). Click the "OK" button
to view the schedule for that lab.
