UCSC Leadership Academy 2010

Leadership Academy Goal: To build a diverse pool of academic & staff employees with the UC knowledge and skills to be successful in a leadership role at UCSC.

Program Description: The Leadership Academy is a comprehensive program held from January-May 2010. Each month participants will explore current topics and issues facing our UC leaders. Through presentations, discussion and case studies, participants will strengthen their leadership acumen and broaden their understanding of how the UC and UCSC systems operate. This year’s Academy includes two skill-building sessions, an Academic Senate meeting, and a Board of Regents meeting. Sessions will be facilitated by leaders from the UCSC campus and the Santa Cruz Community.

Intended For: Ladder rank faculty and staff employees Senior Analyst PSS K – MSP V or equivalent with at least 6 months of service.

Application Process: 

1. Download and complete the STAFF or FACULTY application.
2. Email completed application to workshop@ucsc.edu or fax to Training & Development at 459-3520 by November 30, 5:00 pm. Late applications will not be accepted.
3. Applications will be reviewed by a selection committee with final input from the Principal Officers.
