Six Key Skills for Leaders, Managers and Supervisors
Learn the six essential skills leaders and managers need in order to effectively develop and motivate their staff. In this highly interactive two-day program, participants will gain a powerful set of skills for handling a broad range of manager-employee interactions. Through discussion and targeted exercises, participants will identify simple, concrete actions they can bring back to the job right away to increase their effectiveness as managers.
Participants will learn to:
- Communicate vision and direction
- Set clear goals and expectations for performance
- Delegate work effectively and build employee ownership
- Adjust management style to the needs of individuals
- Build trust through effective listening and feedback
- Reinforce and encourage positive employee performance
