Creating Accessible and Compliant PDFs **New!
This one-day class covers most aspects of creating accessible, interactive PDF forms using Acrobat X Pro that also will be Section 508 compliant. The course will cover learning how to optimize form layouts for accessibility, preparing both a Microsoft Word and an Adobe InDesign document for conversion to an accessible PDF form, learning how to use buttons, text fields, combo boxes, radio buttons and check boxes, adding security, setting a tab order and tagging the form. Section 508 is a federal mandate that requires that all Web site content be equally accessible to people with disabilities and in this case will address how to make your PDFs accessible by visually impaired people using adaptive software.
