FileMaker Pro, Scripting Basics
Imagine being able to have FileMaker perform a sequence of complex actions with a single command! You'll be able to do exactly that once you attend the "Scripting Basics in FileMaker Pro" course, where you'll learn how to create scripts that save you time and ensure consistent results. You can stop doing routine, repetitive procedures manually by learning how to create scripts that will do these tasks for you.
During the class, you will learn how to create scripts that find and organize records and prepare desired reports with one click or a single keystroke. You'll create a "loop" script that examines a database and marks duplicate records automatically. Another script helps you find and archive old records that are no longer needed. You learn how to plan, document, and troubleshoot FileMaker Pro scripts.
