You, Your Presentation and PowerPoint

Whether leading a group session, presenting information to your department, or giving an orientation to a group of new freshmen, the skills you learn in this session will prepare you to effectively communicate your message. Frank Widman will present this 3 hour class designed to enable you to:

• Understand the dynamics of your mind and body when making a presentation that will ease anxiety and open communication
• Learn a 7-step preparation that will help to make your presentation powerful and compelling
• Effectively use PowerPoint slides, including suggestions for animation techniques
• Lab time for you to try out some of these PowerPoint techniques
