Staff Appreciation Picnic - Save the date and tabling information
Hello UCSC Staff Community!
Please save the NEW May date - May 9th - for our annual Staff Appreciation Picnic and Raffle! We are excited to welcome you all to this event to celebrate everyone’s hard work this year. Please let us know if you are planning to attend by filling out the RSVP form by Friday, April 26th so we can prepare the appropriate amount of food with as little waste as possible. If you can’t make it but would still like to participate in the raffle, you can say so in the RSVP form.

This year we are also partnering with KZSC to DJ the event. If you would like to dedicate a song to someone, you can request it on the RSVP form.
We are also looking for organizations that would like to table at this year’s picnic. Priority will be given to campus-affiliated and staff-focused organizations. To apply for a table, please fill out this Google form. Applications are due by April 8th and organizations will be notified of their participation by April 17th. Questions can be directed to ucscsab@ucsc.edu.
We can’t forget the raffle! If you or your department would like to donate a prize for this year’s raffle, please email ucscsab@ucsc.edu.
In an effort to remove barriers to participation, parking vouchers will be available at the East Remote Lot for UCSC staff without a parking pass. A parking lot attendant will be stationed there from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The attendant will issue you a parking permit, direct you to park, and point you to a shuttle dedicated to the Staff Appreciation Picnic or the walking path to Quarry Amphitheater. If you have an ADA placard, drive directly to parking lot 102 at Quarry Plaza.
