Layoffs can have many personal impacts, including on emotional and mental health and well-being. The University provides the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) has temporarily expanded to offer three (3) counseling sessions.

EAP also offers support and referral services related to the broad range of human relations experiences, such as alcohol or drug abuse, financial hardships, emotional or behavioral challenges, family and marital discord, legal and other personal difficulties.Your benefits are available to you and your household members for 6 months following a layoff.  Read all the details on your EAP benefit here. You may continue to use EAP services for 6 months following your layoff date.
