23/24 Annual Performance Evaluations Coming Due

Managers and Supervisors should complete the annual evaluations for their non-represented and represented staff to build on our culture of engagement, to provide ongoing support and encouragement and to document any performance concerns that may exist.

Due Date for Represented and Non-Represented Employees

Annual performance evaluations for all staff employees are due by Friday, August 30, 2024.

Employee Self-Evaluations

In accordance with your Divisional practice, please encourage your employees to complete self-evaluations and provide a sufficient amount of time for them to be completed.

Important Note about Low Scoring Evaluations

Prior to submitting an overall rating of Improvement Needed or Unacceptable on an employee’s performance appraisal, you must notify your ER Analyst. ePerformance does not automatically notify Employee Relations (ER) if a supervisor submits an appraisal with an overall rating of Improvement Needed or Unacceptable.

Resources are available

Employee Relations will offer open Zoom office hours on Wednesdays from 11am - 12pm during the months of May - August 2024 for anyone with questions surrounding completion or administration of performance evaluations. Click here to join via zoom.

ePerformance: Completing the Manager Evaluation Training

This training is an instructor-guided session which primarily focuses on content writing for evaluations, which occurs after supervisors have already defined the criteria in their employees evaluation. It will provide a brief review of ePerformance navigation, including how to nominate participants, complete self-evaluations and complete manager evaluations. The main focus of this training is to review the performance rating system and provide guidance on how to write an effective, concise, comprehensive, narrative to support performance ratings.
