    Governor Brown signed into law a new state minimum wage of $9.00/hour that took effect in July of 2014. Tied to this, a second minimum wage adjustment is also scheduled to take effect January 1, 2016 that will increase the state minimum to $10.00/hour.

Managers who are scheduled to leave for the summer months or who supervise staff on summer furloughs, should complete their performance appraisals in June to meet the August 25, 2014 deadline.

    Proposed Revisions to the UC Policy on Sexual Harassment
