Step-by-Step - Administrative Tasks
For step-by-step instructions for each of these steps, please click the blue links below:
- Go to https://ucpath.universityofcalifornia.edu
- Log in with your CruzID and Gold password.
- Navigate to PeopleSoft Menu (or Main Menu) > Workforce Development > Performance Management > Performance Documents > Create Documents
- If you have an existing Run Control ID, enter search criteria and click the yellow ‘Search’ button. In the search results, select the desired Run Control ID
- If you do not have an existing Run Control ID, click on the ‘Add a New Value’ tab, and enter a new Run Control ID and click the yellow ‘Add’ button
- Please Note: Run Control IDs cannot contain spaces or special characters
- Enter a ‘Period Begin Date’
- Enter a ‘Period End Date’
- In the ‘Document Type’ field, select ‘SCCMP Annual Performance Docs’
- Click the magnifying glass next to the ‘Template ID’ and select the appropriate template based on whether the employee is policy covered or union represented
- Choose the desired approval method associated with that policy or union coverage
- In the ‘Manager Selection Method’ field, select ‘By Reports to Position’
- Select the ‘Employee ID’ radio button
- Enter the employee’s Employee ID
- Click the yellow ‘Run’ button in the top right corner
- Click the yellow ‘Ok’ button in the bottom left corner
- Give the system approximately 1-2 minutes to create the evaluation. If you go step r prematurely, you may get a false negative
- To verify that the creation of the evaluation was successful, select PeopleSoft Menu (or Main Menu) > Workforce Development > Performance Management > View Document Creation Results
- If the creation was successful, you will see “Document Created Successfully” under the status section to the right of the employee’s name
- If this page does not display “Document Created Successfully”, contact your Employee Relations Analyst
- Go to https://ucpath.universityofcalifornia.edu
- Log in with your CruzID and Gold password.
- Navigate to PeopleSoft Menu (or Main Menu) > Workforce Development > Performance Management > Performance Documents > Administrative Tasks > Transfer Document
- Enter search criteria and click the yellow ‘Search’ button
- Click on checkbox next to the evaluation(s) you would like to update and click the yellow ‘Continue’ button
- Click the ‘Select a Manager’ hyperlink
- Enter search criteria for the new manager and click the yellow ‘Search’ button
- If there are multiple ambiguous search results, click the blue ‘i’ icon to the right of each name to see additional details about that manager
- Click the yellow ‘Save’ button
- Go to https://ucpath.universityofcalifornia.edu
- Log in with your CruzID and Gold password.
- Navigate to PeopleSoft Menu (or Main Menu) > Workforce Development > Performance Management > Performance Documents > Administrative Tasks > Reopen Document
- Enter search criteria and click the yellow ‘Search’ button
- Click on checkbox next to the evaluation(s) you would like to reopen and click the yellow ‘Continue’ button
- Click the yellow ‘Save’ button
- Go to https://ucpath.universityofcalifornia.edu
- Log in with your CruzID and Gold password.
- Navigate to PeopleSoft Menu (or Main Menu) > Workforce Development > Performance Management > Performance Documents > Administrative Tasks > Cancel Document
- Enter search criteria and click the yellow ‘Search’ button
- Click on checkbox next to the evaluation(s) you would like to update and click the yellow ‘Continue’ button
- Click on checkbox next to the evaluation(s) you would like to cancel and click the yellow ‘Continue’ button
- Click the yellow ‘Save’ button
